Make sure to download the "Job center" app on your phone to find locations to certain jobs. Other locations have blips on the map.
Fishing:
To fish, you will need a license, a fishing rod, and bait. You can fish either on the shore or via a boat. You will need the bait in your inventory to use the fishing rod, which is also used through the inventory menu.
Fishing Hotspots:
While fishing inside a fishing hotspot, your chance to catch a rare fish are increased.

Are you looking to strike big in the mining world? Want all the money in a LEGAL fashion? Mining might just be for you! Mining is a legal activity that consists of mining dirt and gems, refining them into ore, and selling them for profit.
Getting Started:
To get started with Mining, you will need to head over to the Quarry. This is located off to the right of Sandy Shores and can be found with the following GPS Marker:
The Process:
As you mine, you will passively find either paydirt or uncut gems. Both of these items have a separate weight requirement - you can continue mining despite not having the inventory space required, but you will not pick the paydirt or gems up.
Paydirt:
Paydirt requires additional processing before it is ready to sell. You will have to take the paydirt to the refined point, which can be found with this icon:
At this location, you can wash your paydirt into different ores - the likelihood of ores dropping varies based on their rarity. Here are all the ores that can drop:
Coal
Copper
Tin
Iron
Silver
Gold Nugget
Runite
Once you've converted all of your paydirt into the various ores, you can sell these at the refinery in Los Santos. This is located at the icon here:
Gems:
There is a chance to discover uncut gems in place of paydirt while mining. Similar to ores, these also have unique rarity values.

Hunting:

Getting Started:
Whether this is a hobby or a job, getting started is the same for everyone! You will want to get yourself a hunting license, a hunting rifle, and also some hunting knives.
Hunting Supplies Store:
Located by Great Ocean Highway near Paleto Bay, you will find the hunting supplies store. Everything you will need can be found here, including the license.
NOTE: Not owning a hunting license can get you in some trouble with the police... Stay on the safe side!
Selling Meat:
Similar to the hunting supplies, the meat sell points are also characterized by wolves, but are colored brown! There is a hunting cabin up north by Paleto Bay, and also a meat sell-point on Forum Drive in the city.
Hunting:

Find a perfect location, and get to searching. From rabbits to birds to cougars and wolves, you will find plenty of wildlife to hunt. After shooting down your prey, approach it and you will be able to skin it. Small animals such as birds and rabbits will give you 1 meat, but larger animals such as cougars and wolves have a chance of dropping up to 4 pieces of meat! Make sure your pockets are empty, you do not want to risk losing some of that meat you worked hard for.
